Signage Available to Order
We are offering more "Free Meals for Kids & Teens" signage to help you promote your meal programs. We have made this signage available throughout COVID-19 and are opening up another round of ordering to meet any additional needs you may have in the new year. Signage helps promote your meal sites and let more families know where to access free meals. Please order what you need for the rest of the school year!

Our placemats for in person learners are also back in stock!
The placemat includes a number of activities that kids can enjoy while eating school meals in the classroom. These include questions, fun facts about foods and the nutrients they contain, and information about a balanced diet. Kids can also identify all of the components of their school meal.

Update Meal Site Information
If you're currently operating OPEN SITES and don't see your sites on our meal finder map or site list, please submit them to us! If you have 5 or fewer sites, you can submit them through this form. For more than 5 sites, please fill out this spreadsheet and send to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to only submit your OPEN sites for publication on the map.
Please remember that all sites must get approved through DESE, in order for meals to be reimbursable. Work directly with your DESE consultant on site applications and approvals.
Summer Eats Conference
Project Bread and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education will be hosting the 2021 VIRTUAL Summer Eats Conference on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 8:30am to 12:30pm!

Virtual Trainings with Project Bread Chefs
Join us for our “Getting Started with Scratch Cooking” classes, later this week we will learn how to make these Soy-Ginger Glazed Chicken Tacos with Cilantro Lime Slaw, Creole Fish Sandwiches, and much more!

The purpose of this state-funded targeted grant program is to encourage new and existing Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) sponsors to increase participation in the program by serving more children per day, increasing total meals served, extending the length of the SFSP, and/or creating new sites. The creation of new sites will increase program availability to participants not currently receiving program services. This is solely a planning and sustainability grant.
