The Hockomock Area YMCA’s Healthy Food Access Initiative is seeking a summer intern to help with operations management and programming for a summer meal program in the community of Milford, MA. Responsibilities will include supporting the program coordinator with meal counts, facilitating programming (including nutrition education), and working closely with volunteers at each of the three summer meal sites. Interested interns could also assist our team with marketing/social media communication throughout the summer. Interns are needed Monday-Friday from roughly 11am-2pm, and a car will be required to travel to meal locations in Milford. This is an unpaid internship opportunity, but we are happy to work with you to fill out any required paperwork if you are looking to receive academic credit for the internship.
