School Breakfast: Eat. Film. Screen.

Overview

School Breakfast: Eat.Film.Screen is a school video contest sponsored by the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and Project Bread and is managed by the Child Nutrition Outreach Program (CNOP). Massachusetts middle and high school students are invited to submit a 30-second video promoting the School Breakfast Program and encouraging their peers to eat a healthy school breakfast.

Submission Period

Students may submit videos anytime between
Monday, March 5, 2012 - Friday, April 6, 2012
at midnight.

Prizes

  • If the winning video is submitted by an individual or a group of up to four people, each person will receive a Flip Video™ Ultra HD 8GB camera.
  • If the winning video is submitted by a classroom or school-recognized club with an established advisor, the class/club will receive a $1,000 Visa® gift card to be spent on the class/club.
  • The winning video will be featured as part of the community program, “Urban Update,” on WHDH-TV.
  • New this year! Monetary prizes will be awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place winners as well.
